One of the last of the summer!
I had my baby around 4:40 on September 10th, at 41w1d. Its a girl, so far no name.

She was born unassisted after... a long labor- much longer then I expected after prodromal labor for close to a month leading up to active labor. Total time form the first "real" contraction to the birth was around 29 hours.

My husband caught her. We weighed her in a diaper after two meconium passings (out of three, so far) and a few feedings and found her to be 9lbs, 9.4oz. No length or head circumference yet.

Here's a link to some photos we've uploaded so far.

Hooray! Congratulations! 29 hours of unassisted labor? You deserve a medal!!!! (I caved and went to the hospital after 4 hours laboring at home then took Pitocin to speed things along. I did it with no pain meds, but 8 hours was enough for me.)

She's beautiful.

Just curious- How long did you push? I find bigger babies tend to come out quicker...especially if you've had no epidural or drugs.

I was losing it about 2 hours before she was born. I'd done a few internals on my own while squating and knew there was a fore bag of waters. As soon as I called a friend for support, I had a massive ctx and my water literally exploded (luckily just as I was walking back over the plastic dropcloth!). After that the ctx got more painful, but also more productive. I spent a decent amount of the next two hours grunting and such, but didn't push for terribly long- maybe 20 minutes?
